
Seth
was born November 21, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned his
undergraduate degree from Northwestern University (B.S. 1996)
and his Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center
(J.D. magna cum laude 2000). Following law school, Seth served
as a law clerk to the Honorable Patricia A. Seitz on the United
States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
After clerking, Seth worked in the litigation department of
an international law firm. Seth then served as an Assistant
United States Attorney in the criminal division of the United
States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Florida.
While serving as an Assistant United States Attorney, Seth tried
numerous jury trials on matters ranging from airplane skyjacking
to healthcare fraud and argued before the Eleventh Circuit Court
of Appeals. Seth was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000.
Since
entering private practice, Mr. Miles has successfully handled
numerous wrongful death and serious personal injury cases including
auto and truck accidents, products liability, medical malpractice,
toxic tort, admiralty, and Alien Tort Claims Act cases. Mr.
Miles has also served as co-counsel in several large commercial
tort, class action, and qui tam cases.
