
Natasha
Cortes joined the firm in 1998 as a law clerk. She was honored
to be asked to become an associate upon graduating in 2000 with
honors from the University of Miami School of Law at age 22.
She is a Miami native and is proud to be the firm's youngest
Hispanic female lawyer.
Mrs.
Cortes practices in the areas of medical malpractice, wrongful
death and complex personal injury matters and in her young career
has already played an integral role in obtaining multi-million
dollar settlements. She shares the firm's commitment to its
clients and brings her dedication and knowledge of information
technology to each and every case she works on.
Mrs.
Cortes fulfills her commitment to helping others by volunteering
her legal services to the families of victims of the 911 tragedy
through her affiliation with Trial Lawyers Care, Inc. She also
is a founder of the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Florida and
serves as Secretary. She also is an active member of the Florida
Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL) local chapter where she helped
implement and administrate their e-mail membership directory as
well as the Cuban American Bar Association.
Mrs.
Cortes was privileged to be elected partner this year in recognition
of her loyalty and dedication to the firm and its clients.
